Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

DeepUseCase (deepusecase.com) is run from Quebec, Canada. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and how to reach us about your data.

What we collect

  • Forms. The contact form (your name, email and message), the get-started form at /start (your name, email, website, industry and what you want automated), and free download sign-ups (your name, email and the page you signed up from).
  • Purchases and subscriptions. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email, Stripe's customer, payment and subscription references, what you bought and the subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
  • Your account. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, which gives us your email and an account ID.
  • Licenses and downloads. A license record (email, product, plan and dates). For each download we log the time, your IP address and your browser's user agent, to deliver files and prevent license sharing. Library sign-ups are logged with a hashed email, IP address and user agent for the same reason.
  • Emails we send. Which purchase, onboarding and follow-up emails went to which license.
  • Usage data. Pages viewed, the site that referred you, device and browser, and events such as sign-ups and purchases, through the analytics and advertising tools listed below.

How we use it

To deliver what you bought (licenses, downloads, library access and installs), answer your messages, send purchase, account and follow-up emails, prevent fraud and license abuse, and measure which pages and ads work. When you buy, we report the purchase to Meta through its Conversions API with your email hashed, and to PostHog, so we can measure our ads. We do not sell your personal information.

Who processes it for us

  • Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
  • Clerk: accounts and sign-in.
  • Cloudflare: hosting, our license database, file storage for downloads, and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
  • Resend: sending email.
  • Google: Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement.
  • Meta: the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, for ad measurement.
  • PostHog: product analytics.

These providers may store or process data outside Quebec and Canada, mainly in the United States, and only to provide their service to us.

Cookies

Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and PostHog set cookies to measure visits and ads. Clerk uses cookies to keep you signed in, and Stripe uses them on its checkout pages. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; signing in needs Clerk's cookies.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links to AI tools and services. When you purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

How long we keep it

License and purchase records are kept for as long as your license or subscription is active and afterwards as long as tax law requires. Form messages are kept as long as needed to answer and follow up. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's settings.

Your rights

Under Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Write to info@deepusecase.com. The person in charge of the protection of personal information can be reached at the same address, and we reply within 30 days. To stop follow-up emails, reply to any of them or write to the same address.
