Short version: Webinarr is the best tool on the market for post-webinar automation, but it’s a terrible choice if you need beautiful, high-converting landing pages out of the box. I use it and I pay for it, but I have to pair it with another tool to make it work.
That’s the entire review, really. If you live and die by the quality of your sales follow-up after a presentation, Webinarr’s specific approach to ai-powered webinar automation workflows is genuinely unique and effective. If you just want an all-in-one platform that looks good and is easy to use, you should probably look at Demio instead. For the rest of you, let’s get into the details of what I’ve learned after six months and about a dozen webinars on the platform.

What Webinarr Is Actually Good At (The Automation)
The reason I stick with Webinarr, despite its flaws, is its ‘Post-Show AI’. This isn’t just a simple transcription service. After your webinar ends, it processes the entire recording, the chat log, and the Q&A section. Within about 15 minutes, it produces a dashboard that is pure gold for anyone in sales or marketing.
AI Side Hustles
Practical setups for building real income streams with AI tools. No coding needed. 12 tested models with real numbers.
Get the Guide → $14
This is my favorite feature. The AI identifies and categorizes every question asked. It then scores attendees based on their engagement and the intent behind their questions. Did someone ask a pricing question? They get tagged as ‘High Intent’. Did someone ask a technical question about integration? They get tagged as ‘Technical Buyer’. This happens automatically.
From there, you can build automation sequences. For example:
- High Intent Group: Automatically send a personalized email that references their exact question, includes a summary of the answer, and provides a direct link to book a demo call. The email is drafted by the AI, so it sounds natural, not like a generic template.
- Technical Buyer Group: Send them an email with a link to the API documentation and a case study relevant to their industry (which it infers from their email domain).
- Low Engagement Group: Send them a simple email with the replay link and a PDF of the slides. No hard sell.
Before Webinarr, this was a manual process that took me hours. I’d have to re-watch the webinar or scan the chat log, manually tag contacts in my CRM, and then write different email variants. It was tedious and I rarely did it well. Webinarr does 90% of it for me. This single workflow has directly led to a 20% increase in attendees booking a follow-up call. That’s a real number from my own business.
What Sucks: The Landing Page Builder
Now for the bad part. And it’s really bad. Webinarr’s built-in registration page builder is one of the worst I’ve used in any modern SaaS product. It feels like something from 2012. The templates are clunky, customization is extremely limited, and the final pages just look amateurish. You get very little control over fonts, layouts, or branding.
This is my biggest gripe, because a webinar’s success starts with getting people to sign up. A cheap-looking landing page kills conversion rates. For my first two webinars, I used their native pages and my signup rate was abysmal compared to my usual benchmarks.
My workaround? I now use Leadpages to build my registration pages and embed a Webinarr signup form. This works, but it’s an extra expense ($49/mo for Leadpages) and adds another point of failure. The integration is decent, but it’s an annoying extra step that shouldn’t be necessary. For a platform that charges a premium, having such a poor-quality feature for a critical part of the process is a major flaw.
It’s a dealbreaker if you need an all-in-one solution.
Is Webinarr’s AI Just GPT-4 with a Fancy Name?
This is a fair question. A lot of ‘AI’ tools are just thin wrappers around OpenAI’s API. While Webinarr doesn’t disclose its underlying models, its output feels more specialized. It’s likely a foundational model like GPT-4 or Claude 3 that has been heavily fine-tuned on a dataset of webinar transcripts, sales conversations, and marketing copy.
The value isn’t the raw text generation; it’s the structured analysis. You could technically build a similar system yourself with Zapier, the OpenAI API, and a lot of complex prompts. You’d need to pipe the transcript to the API, ask it to identify questions, then ask it to score intent, then ask it to draft emails. It would be a brittle, multi-step process that would cost a fortune in tokens and break constantly.
Webinarr productizes this entire workflow. The AI isn’t just a chatbot; it’s an analysis engine designed for one specific purpose: turning a webinar audience into qualified leads. That integration is what you’re paying for, not just access to a large language model.
